Can I recover a closed board or workspace?

My Trello board was recently closed, and I did not receive a notification that it would be closed because I was not the administrator for the board. I had been using my board up until May 2026. My friend, the administrator, had been notified that his account would be deactivated last September, but the notification was in his spam folder, so he was not able to warn me that I would be losing access to my Trello board. Is there any way that I can recover my board, without being the administrator? The administrator is willing to help recover my board.

Hello @Jessica Morel 

As you're still a board member but not an admin, I'll flag this to Atlassian Support to review the board/account state and see if they can restore your admin access.
