Bringing Trello into Canvas

Hello,

I'm a community college educator and want to bring Trello into the LMS my college uses: Canvas.

How do I bring Trello into Canvas so I can use it to help manage my classes. 

Or, do I use Trello outside of Canvas to organize my classes and "to do" lists within Canvas?

@James Bonstein looks like there's something that does it, but it looks as though the only option is to embed a public Trello board which doesn't strike me as particularly useful:
