Board is closed and cannot reopen

"You’re a member of this board, but only board admins are able to reopen it. Please contact support for assistance."

The admin has not been on our project for quite some time and was likely removed due to inactivity. Even if they were not, they no longer have access to the company email that was being used and cannot reopen the board. We have no way of opening our board as of right now. Can I get admin access to reopen the board?

Should I be able to view that ticket? This is the error I receive: "

I do have access to that board as an admin, but it is not letting me reopen the board as an admin. I click "Reopen board" and it shows a popup to select a Workspace. When selecting a Workspace, there are no options to select.

@Matthew Shoemate , Sorry, you are still facing the issue. Let me know if you want me to promote any other member as admin to try reopening the board?

@Nivedhya Vikram1 I went to try and copy this board to a new board to see if it would let me and stated I was a guest and needed to contact a Board Admin to do that. I see myself as a board admin, is there a chance that I have conflicting permissions? Shouldn't I be able to give another user board admin access?

@Matthew Shoemate , I see the board is still in Closed status, and I also see that you currently don't have an existing workspace.

The first step is to create a new workspace. Here’s how:

  1. Click your profile icon in the Trello header.

  2. Select “Create Workspace.”

Workspaces can be created for free, and all members of a free Workspace are Workspace admins.

Once the new workspace is created, you’ll be able to reopen the board, and the new workspace will appear as an option to move your board into.
