Hi, I ran into an issue with the platform.
Today I cleaned up my account and deleted a workspace. When I did that, the boards linked to that workspace were deleted as well. However, it seems there may have been a hidden board in that workspace that shouldn’t have been deleted. I’m not completely sure if it was hidden, but I’m certain I couldn’t see it in my workspace.
I checked the history to try to recover it, but it doesn’t appear there to be reopened either.
If the board was really part of my workspace, it should show up under “closed boards,” but it’s not there.
I’d like to understand what might have happened and where this missing board went.
The name of the missing board is “Instagram - Adalpha Church.”
Hi @Lucas Gomes
What probably happened is that deleting the Workspace closed the boards, but did not permanently delete them.
So I would check:
1. Trello Home -> Boards -> View all closed boards
2. whether you were an admin/member of that missing board
3. if you have the direct board URL, try opening it directly, because Workspace admins can sometimes reopen a closed board from the board itself
If the board was actually permanently deleted, Atlassian’s docs say that cannot be recovered. But based on what you described, my first guess is “closed and hidden from your current list,” not “hard-deleted.”
