I just noticed the automation limit for Trello and also noticed that it resets on the first of the month. Since I've been testing things out, I've probably hit the limit in all of the time I've been using it, but since the first of the month, there have only been 25 automations put into action. I'm confused.
Does it still restart on the 1st?
Hi @Katy Lynch
Just to clarify, 250 automation runs per month is the limit for free and it is important to understand the word "runs". An automation run is counted when the automation is triggered.
example. You have 1 automation:
when a card is added to the list "Done", mark the card as complete, remove all members from the card and add the "Check" sticker to the card
This automation has:
1 trigger - "when a card is moved into the list "Done"
3 actions - "mark the card as complete", "remove all members", "add the check sticker"
On your board, every time anyone moves a card into the list "Done", you will consume 1 run and 3 action
If in 1 day, you move 25 cards to the list "Done", this will consume a total of 25 runs, and 75 actions
You can read more about it here:

You can see your automation monthly consumption here:
One of the very best things about Trello Premium is unlimited automations. If you intend to heavily use automations, this is amazing value. I don't know any other productivity tools offering unlimited automations for any price...
