I'm currently building a rough production plan in Trello to shadow a project management plan. I'm trying to use mirrored cards so that everything remains consistent across the different boards, but I've hit an issue that I can't figure out. For context, I've built master production schedules before but this my first time building it in Trello.
When a card is added to a particular list in Board 1, it will automatically create a mirror on the Production board which I can then use to plot out the steps in production, using the dates function of the checklist to automate against as it moves through stages. When the mirrored cards goes to a particular list in the production board, I want the original source card to also be moved to an "In Production" list in Board 1. Ideally I would like to do this without needing to add a Power Up, as it's a test build and I want to really understand the limitations of Trello.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi @Jordan Kennedy, you can do this by adding the "find the source card" action in the "Cascade" section of the automation builder. Then you can add an action to move the source card as a final step.
