I am setting up field employees to be able to email support requests into the office support staff. They email to the board, and a card is created. I noticed they that they do not get any notifications until they are assigned to the card. And for whatever reason, they are not auto assigned to cards they created. Obviously the staff can assign them, but in the interest of automation, and making sure important steps or information is not missed due to human error, is there a way to automatically make the creator auto assigned to their cards. Regardless of how they are created...

I recommend using Butlerbot Automation for this.
To add custom automation using Butlerbot, follow these steps:
1) Add Butlerbot to your board here: https://www.butlerfortrello.com/dashboard.html
-- A new list will be created titled "Butler"
2) Add a new card to the Butler list, using the follow text minus the parentheses
(when a card is added to the board, subscribe the member to the card)
