in June 2025 we had the pop-up of reaching our limit on number of attachments on a board (after using since 2018!)
I wasn't able to delete any old archieved cards, so have created a new board to use instead. The issue is, every now and then the new board pops up with the same warning of number of attachments which isn't the case. It stops my teams from uploading onto cards for a day or two, and then suddenly it's working again.
Any advise on how to manage this?
Hi Danielle, usually when a board is approaching a hard limit of attachments per board (which is 36.000), Trello will pop up a message about it.
Now, if the board is quite new and still not close to the limit, it definitely needs further investigation. Could you please open a ticket with the support team? This way, you can share more details and information about the board. Here's the link: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

I haven't seen this issue before so I have escalated it to Atlassian support. Someone from the team should respond here in the next 2-3 working days🙂
