Hi,
I have closed down my business and subsequent systems.
As the domain is now closed, I have no access to new emails therefore, I am unable to login via the web due to two step verification.
How do I gain access to my account to close my Trello account so I can use an alternative account?
I understand the situation—losing both your email domain and 2FA access makes recovery difficult. Because of security protocols, we cannot manually disable 2FA or change your email over chat.
Here is how to resolve this:
1. Use your Recovery Key
If you saved the Recovery Key provided when you first set up 2FA, go to id.atlassian.com and select "Use recovery key" to bypass the 2FA prompt.
2. Contact Atlassian Support for an Identity Challenge
How to submit your request:
Go to: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian
How can we help you? Select Your account.
Choose a topic: Log-in issues
Under 'Your question' explain that you are locked out due to a closed domain and 2FA, and need to close the account to move to a new one.
This will route your request to the Billing and Identity team to assist with the account closure.
Best,
Samuil
Hello @Shaun Crossan
You will definitely need help from Atlassian here.
I flagged your post, and an Atlassian Support Engineer should get in touch with you within 2 business days.
Unfortunately, we as Community users cannot check anything behind the scenes, so there is not much more we can do from here.

Hi @Arkadiusz Wroblewski - thanks for coming back to me. I'm happy to continue with a subscription. I just need to close the account so I can switch to an account using my own personal email.
