In some of our workflows, we use a card to encapsulate a project. The description becomes a living spec document that can grow quite large. We leverage multiple checklist groups to categorize our work items (in a similar vein to lists on a board). Having a way to collapse/expand the description in a card will allow the checklists to be more immediately visible upon opening a card. Currently, the checklists are always off-screen and we need to scroll down to see them.

Hi @Francis

Welcome to the Community!

After having a look around, I can't see a way to collapse the description field, I know that when it gets long, Trello will automatically collapse it and you have to click on 'show full description' to be able to see it all, but I can't see any way to be able to get it smaller again.

My only other suggestion would be to decrease your screen size for Trello, that would mean you can see more of the back of the card at once. On a Mac (in Chrome, Safari or the native Trello App) CMD and the minus symbol will make the board smaller. There should be a similar keyboard combination for Windows (but I only have Macs so I don't know what it is, probably Control and the minus symbol). I always have mine running at either 67% or 75% because otherwise I can't see everything that I want to see!

Esme :)
