Happy to share I'm now ACA-910 certified!
This certification covers IT Service Management (ITSM) and Jira Service Management foundations - the core skills someone working on a service desk needs.
While the exam is heavily weighted to JSM (70%!) it does include some conceptual information around IT service management (e.g. the system-agnostic ideas behind why things are done). I appreciate the approach as understanding WHY you need to do something is just as important as they HOW you do it.
Honestly that background knowledge would have been a huge help to me early in my career. Even (relatively) simple things like knowing the difference between "problem" and "incident" would have helped me decode information and help resolve things more quickly on the job.
I was also never formally trained on Jira Service Management - which made it (more than) a bit challenging to actually use it (especially since I began as a project admin!). Knowing the intended use of the product - and how Agents are expected to use it - would have been incredibly helpful.
If you use JSM (either as an agent, or help desk manager) definitely check out this certification. Atlassian Learning has some great stuff, and I've also launched a Udemy course to help folks prepare for this exam.
I've also got some "recorded live" study sessions if you're looking for some more perspective and info (all linked in below).
