🪐 New Jira company-managed space administration live training for space admins

The design of your organization’s Jira spaces impacts how teams get work done. Tailoring spaces to individual team needs improves collaboration, visibility, and efficiency. Our new courses will help new and seasoned Jira space admins configure spaces that work the way your teams do.

We just launched two new live learning courses for Jira company-managed space admins:

These courses are built around the real tasks and responsibilities of a space admin. We cover topics from the essentials to the more advanced features your space might not be using yet.

I'm Becky from the Atlassian Learning team, and I'm excited to share what @Norbert Rettinger and I put together for you.

🧠 What your team can learn

The two new courses cover the full range of company-managed space admin tasks, so you can expect your team to learn not only how to customize their Jira space but also how to thrive in it.

Jira space admin: Configure space settings and access (~3 hours)

  • Explore Jira administration

  • Configure space settings

  • Manage space access

This course covers the basics. It is a great starting point for new space admins. Your team will learn what they can customize, how to arrange their work experience, and how they can control who can access their space. This course will take your team from using a template Jira space to shaping a customized space tailored to their needs. It will help smooth over the edges and speed up day-to-day operation for everyone involved.

Jira space admin: Configure versions, components, and forms (~5.5 hours)

  • Collect information with forms

  • Release work in versions

  • Group and track work with components

  • Automate work in Jira

This course is a little more advanced but nothing a new space admin can’t handle! The focus here is to enhance what your team’s space can do. They can learn how to organize their work intake with forms, plan and track releases, categorize work with components, and automate repetitive manual tasks. These features add more capabilities to your team’s space, so your team can do more without switching apps and use Jira more proactively to save time and keep their work neatly organized.

👤 Who is this for?

These courses are for Jira users who manage a company-managed space. Whether your team is new to Jira space administration or you need them to be more proficient, the modules are designed to be practical and immediately applicable to their space. You can take either course separately or get the full experience by taking both in one go.

⌛ Format and length

Both courses are instructor-led, available in person or virtually. Each course is designed with real-life scenarios in mind. You can expect use cases applicable across industries and practice exercises with hands-on tasks in our sandbox environment.
