This covers the questions that came up in the Generating and Improving Content with Rovo session on 9 July 2026.
The recording is available here.
Q: Is what Rovo has access to controlled by an administrator?
Yes. Your organization's Rovo admin controls which connectors are enabled (Slack, Google Drive, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, etc.) and whether web search is available. By default, Rovo searches across all Atlassian content you have access to. It will never surface content you don't have permission to see; your existing permissions are always respected.
Q: Can you tell Rovo to use a specific template, including macros like Page Properties?
Yes. Name the template you want to use in your prompt and specify which macros you'd like it to apply. The more detail you give, the closer the output will be to what you need.
Q: If you only want part of Rovo's improved version, can you keep just some of it?
Yes. My recommendation: use Create with Rovo instead. Paste your content in, let it generate an output, and then choose which sections to keep before anything goes into a page.
Q: Can you force Rovo to pull key term definitions from your company's internal content only?
There's no admin setting that restricts the Define Key Terms feature to internal content exclusively. The good news is that Rovo already prioritizes your organization's knowledge when defining terms; it searches your connected content first and will surface company-specific meanings where they exist. The only documented admin control in this area is a toggle in the Rovo Browser Extension settings that controls whether definitions appear on Google Search results pages that's on/off only, not a source filter. So the behavior you'd want is largely the default already.
Q: Rovo keeps switching languages when I use it in Jira, can I prevent this?
A couple of things can cause this. First, there's an intentional behavior: if Rovo detects that a ticket is written in a different language, it may translate content. This is by design for multilingual teams, not a bug. Second, there are known issues with language settings not being fully respected across all parts of Rovo. The recommended first step is to check your language preference at Atlassian account preferences. This should control language across Atlassian Cloud products. One thing to be aware of: Rovo Studio specifically reads from your browser language setting rather than your account preference, so if they differ, you may see inconsistent behavior.
Q: Can Rovo create a BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) workflow diagram?
Not as a proper BPMN diagram, no. Rovo can generate flowcharts and mind maps via the Create with Rovo whiteboard feature, which works well for visualizing processes, but Confluence whiteboards don't have the specialized shape library that BPMN 2.0 requires. If you need BPMN diagrams inside Confluence, you'd need a Marketplace app. BPMN Modeler for Confluence and Gliffy are both options worth looking at.
Q: When will Remix be available on the bundle track?
Remix is currently in beta. I don't have a confirmed availability date for the bundle track. I'll update this article when I have more information.
Take a rough set of notes and use Create with Rovo to turn them into a formatted page.
Try the three reasoning modes on the same prompt and compare the outputs.
Paste a Loom transcript into Create with Rovo and ask it to produce a structured meeting summary.
