I'm looking forward to running the Vision Creation play to give the team and our stakeholders a "north star" to work towards in the coming months and years.
I would like to run the DACI with my team as we are a small one with defined roles and responsibilities. This play can become part of our process everytime we receive a client's request.
We work in a small group and I'm the most recent member, but I can definitely see where the DACI approach can help to reconnect everyone as we slowly outgrow the intimate and casual connections that a 2 member team can progress with. As more players come into the project, maintaining that sense of collaboration and the natural feedback loop becomes more complex and opportunities for disconnect or misunderstandings increase. This disconnect will ultimately lead to project and individual team member failures, where introducing DACI at this early stage gives a clear method to strengthen and encourage engagement.
Intention is to run the goals, signals and measures play since understanding objectives, metrics and the overall game plan are critical to team engagement and project success.
I think all of these plays are valuable in ensure outcome driven results, but I think at a minumum the Vision Creation and Goals, Signals and Measures plays are the ones that need to be done. I would like to try these out for myself to see if it does help bring clarity and focus to the team to help them determine what work they need to accomplish.
DACI is a trustful and transparency framework for all organisation's. Thus is a best practice to be used for global teams.
It is important to bring this mindset for organisation culture. At the first moment can sounds strange but afterwards it will be proven as a huge toolkit for decision making.
All the team should be able to answer about the goal and the purpose of the squad.
It is crucial that everyone knows their mission and the importance of their work because this will influence the quality of the product/service deliverable and consequently the customer satisfaction.
I love the structure for Vision Creation, it allows brainstorming and teamwork while still driving direct, tangible outcomes and ownership on the team lead.
I would start with creating a vision for my team. My team is currently going through digital transformation which is one of a kind in their role. Since it is an operational team, the members have little to no clarity about what they are doing and why they are doing the same. As the leader of the team, the onus is on me to outline the vision, the goals and finally what would success look like in their roles once we are done with the digital transformation. Loved the part about the customer journey too..

I think I'll try out "How to run the Customer Journey Mapping play". Because I feel my team really needs to connect with our customers journey for creating meaningful and useful documentation.
I intend to run Customer Journey Mapping play to enhance our understanding of the customer experience. This strategic approach will help identify touchpoints, pain points, and opportunities for improvement in customer journey. By visualizing the entire process, we can optimize interactions, leading to improved customer satisfaction and loyalty.
I like DACI and have been using similar strategic guidance formats but DACI I think will make it more clear as to what everyone's roles and responsibilities are in a project. Setting expectation up front is key to successful engagement.
I would prefer to include the play of Goals, Signals and Measurements in my Team. Based on the requirement and role i play in the project it is necessary that we have a goal decided for every development cycle so that something is delivered to the client. Signals and measures help my team to keep a check on what is left behind and accordingly plan next cycle. It helps us to improve our process and keeps us focused and motivated.
Using DACI is a great idea to get people involve especially liaising or communicating from different regions so that everyone can access the info on the same page!
All of the guidance provides food for thought, I love that it is practical advice rather than just theoretical guidance. 10/10 I will be adjusting and running for our team the Vision Creation play and the Goals, signal and measures play for our extremely agile project.
