Confluence Whiteboards โ€“ a real Team Changer

In our PMO, we have shifted part of our annual and task planning to Confluence Whiteboards โ€“ with a noticeable impact on efficiency, clarity, and execution speed. ๐Ÿš€

Instead of long meeting minutes, we now work:

  • with visual brainstorming in real time

  • with clear clusters instead of scattered notes

  • with a direct transition from idea to action

What works especially well for us:

  • Rovo as a digital team member: provides impulses, condenses content, and keeps discussions focused

  • Jira integration: convert sticky notes and shapes directly into Jira work items โ€“ without media breaks

  • Use in planning, root cause analysis, mind maps, 4L retros, and much more

For us, Confluence Whiteboards are a real lever to turn workshops into tangible results โ€“ fast, transparent, and traceable.

@Carsten Severin _KUMAVISION AG_ - thanks for sharing Carsten!

Love Whiteboards's collaborative editing feature - it's a more dynamic experience than team members working from a page.

Can you elaborate on what clear clusters means?

@Dave LIAO Clustering is an established method for structuring ideas within a brainstorming session. The main topic is placed in the center of the page and clearly highlighted. Associated terms are added, individually marked (e.g., circled), and connected with lines to form a network. New thoughts can branch out from the central concept at any time, creating additional networks of ideas. All spontaneous contributionsโ€”including unusual or seemingly unrealistic ideasโ€”are initially collected without any evaluation.
