We are wanting to have a status page for multiple products (at least 4) and I am wanting to figure out the best way to do this. We're currently on the Startup plan, so is the best approach to go to Business? Or is there a way to do 4 different Start-Up level accounts?

Hello Ben,

The differences between a startup and a business (besides the prices) are increased existing features and adding component subscription and role-based access control features.

You must also consider whether the number of subscribers or your team members matters for each product.

1 Business page

  • All products will be visible on the same page/URL. All incidents are manageable through a single management page.
  • You will be limited to 5000 subscribers (people who will receive notifications from your page).
  • Price at $399

4 Startup pages

  • Each product has its page/URL. You have four different pages to manage, each with components and incidents.
  • You will be limited to 1000 subscribers per page.
  • Price at $99 x 4 = $396

You can also go with a 1 Startup page.

  • All products will be visible on the same page/URL. All incidents are manageable through a single management page.
  • You will be limited to 1000 subscribers for all four products (people who will receive notifications from your page).
  • Price at $99

My recommendation is based mainly on the display you want for your customers. If it's not a problem that all products are shown on the same page, one business page will be the most suitable.

If you want a display dedicated to that product, and having four pages/places to manage is not a problem, you can go with 4 Startup pages.

Please know that we also have Trials available, so you can use them as a test to make sure about the functionalities you're going to use, the number of subscribers, and visualization:

I hope that helps clarify things!

It helps and it also adds a layer of complexity with the decisions that we need to make.

Can the Atlassian Status Pages link up with our DataDog instance? We are trying to decide on the DD Status Page offering and staying with Atlassian.

I would prefer we do not have 4 different instances of Status Page. Could we trial the 3 additional status pages so we can see what that would look like?

Hey Ben,

Please have a look at our Datadog integration page, so you can better understand how it works.

It's a read-only integration and uses Datadog queries to populate system metrics charts based on the query given.

Regarding the trials, you can spin up three trial instances and test them out. If you don't have any Statuspage yet, you can start with the first one here:

After the first page is created, subsequent ones can be created following the article here:
