Limit Incident updates to 1 on statuspage

How can I limit the number of updates shown on my StatusPage to 1 update per incident. But leave all updates visible in the History Page.

At present we are deleting and replacing an incident once resolved to ensure the page remain tidy and not clogged in previous updates.

Thanks for reaching out, Atlassian Community. 

 

Right now, Statuspage doesn’t have a setting that limits incidents to a single visible update on the main page while still showing all updates for that incident in the History view. Any update you add becomes part of the same incident timeline and is reflected consistently both on the main status page (while active) and in Incident History once it’s resolved.

That’s why you’re needing to delete and recreate incidents today to keep things tidy, but as you’ve noticed, that also removes useful historical context.

In the current design, Statuspage optimises for transparency of the full incident lifecycle.
