We got an outage of the SAAS application but didn't get any incidents created. When I checked with the team and they said nothing impacted our side. I want to know how you decide whether the component is down or up.
Why incident is not created?

Thanks for reaching out! It depends if you are automating incident creation/component updates. If it's not automated, you have to manually go into Statuspage and initiate an incident then add the affected components.
