i cannot authenticate in github

i have a new Personal Access Token from github. How can i tell SOurceTree to use this one?

What's being displayed on the screen? Are there specific errors or messages when you try to authenticate?

There have been a couple of discussions about this; check here:

• Cannot get SourceTree to accept a Github personal access token 
• Unable to connect to Github Enterprise with PAT 

Some other resources that might help:

• when pulling from Azure Git repo, I get asked the login/PAT at least twice "remember" is checked 

TBO, I'm not sure if people managed to get this (PAT) to work. I could try this out over the weekend. 👀

If this still throws authorization errors, can you share what error/message is being displayed?
