Why isn't the current Sourcetree version available via Winget?

Hi,

I saw (f.i. on www.sourcetreeapp.com) that the current Sourcetree version is 3.4.17, but this version is not available via Winget. Calling "winget search sourcetree" yields 3.4.16 as newest version. Why so?

Sourcetree's downloadable installers are all provided on the web as standard downloads.  "Winget" is a download manager, not Atlassian software, you'll need to ask winget's vendor why it is not able to use a standard link to get a file.
