Why can't I login to Sourcetree with my Atlassian.com credentials/

Trying to use the same credentials in Sourcetree that I logged into the atlassian.com website with to ask this question but in Sourcetree getting error "Something went wrong while attempting to validate your credentials".

Also, the latest version of Sourcetree available for download on your website is 2.5.5 but immediately upon installing it, it says there is a 2.6.6 version available.  Where can I can get the enterprise .msi version of 2.6.6?

Authentication depends on a .NET control that uses Internet Explorer.  For some reason it is broken in the installer.  Many people have reported this over the last year (approx), but for some reason, Atlassian hasn't fixed it.

For me, the solution that worked was to use a Google account, rather than my Atlassian one.  That seemed to work.

Totally bizarre and frustrating.  Rest assured you aren't the only one who has encountered this.  Hopefully Atlassian fix this soon.
