What version of Git does SourceTree for Windows version 3.4.1 have installed with it?

Hello,

I need to know what version of Git does SourceTree for Windows version 3.4.1 have?  Also does anyone know how one can determine the Git version if they have SourceTree downloaded?

Thank you in advance,

Dan

Hey Daniel,

according to the SourceTree documentation you should be able to find out the embedded git version on the git settings page.

Take a look at this article for some screenshots: https://confluence.atlassian.com/sourcetreekb/using-embedded-git-or-system-git-in-sourcetree-785323587.html

Cheers,
Peter
