For a long time now, when I've been using SourceTree for Windows (in Windows 10, v3.4.8, but I've now updated to 3.4.15), I've noticed that every few minutes it does a series of flickering modal windows that appear so briefly in the middle of my screen that I can't even see what they are. This makes continued work on my projects almost impossible until I close Sourcetree and the flickering windows stop.
I cant' find any mention of this in your support forum, although admittedly I might be searching for the wrong terms: it's something that could be described in a variety of ways!
UPDATE (2023-12-12): I'm still constantly having to close Sourcetree (I call it "putting it on the Naughty Step") so I can work, then I keep having to re-open it again when I need it. This is a bit INSANE. Does anyone else have this issue??
UPDATE (2024-02-06): This is a BUG, and it's really, really annoying. I can't be the only one, surely?
UPDATE (2024-02-08): I found a workaround. Apparently this is because I had "background fetch" enabled in the global settings. I've turned it off now. But Sourcetree should NOT be popping up modal diagloues when it doesn't have the focus.
BUMP! Surely I can't be the only one with this issue??
EDIT: I meant to post that in the original post. Why isn't there a delete option?
