What is the best way to configure Advanced Options during installation

During installation, is it better to check or leave unchecked , the "Configure Automatic line ending handling" option

Knowing that I have already installed git and choose the "Checkout Windows-style" option

What happens when I check the option or leave it unchecked during the SourceTree Installation? Does it make a difference, does it override the Git Installation option?
