Version 3.4.29 - Does not show the changed files

The latest version doesn't show changed files as "uncommitted changes", I need to exit SourceTree and reopen it to see the changed files in the current branch. Moreover, if I commit these files the "uncommitted changes" at the top of the graph doesn't disappear and new changes are not visible again forcing another exit/rentry to see them. This happen in every repository I tried.

This version feels seriously broken. Need to quit the application and restart it to get a one shot "correct view" of my files and branches and after clicking on something, all becomes again feeling wrong and out of place.
