Hi all,
I'm unable to do anything with my private repositories in GitHub. I'm can work with no porblems with public ones.
I'm able to see the repositories from Sourcetree but if I try to clone a prvate one says error in login. This is happening only with private ones.
I have similar scenario trying to push to github. With Public is working fine but with private I have the same authentication error.
I'm running version 2.3.5.0
Does anyone what the problem can be?
I have the same problem
I can see all repositories and clone only public repo
I connected Sourcetree to GitHub using token and ssh key.
Anyone knows Why is it going and how to fix it?
Hi Ramon, can you confirm you've followed the steps at Connect your Github account already?
Was it previously working for you, or is this the first time you're setting this up?
Can you send us a screenshot of the error you get?
Best regards,
Ana

I've been working with problems, and suddenly it stopped working after the update.
I tried many different things, even setup 2 way Auth.
The problem is solved now after following a suggestion in the questions about turning Git to system one and back again to embedded one. After this, everything began to work again.
Thanks.

I switched in preferences between the built in git and the OS git, and back again to no avail. For me everything works including push from a terminal command line, and everything except push works from within SourceTree. It had previously worked. I am using 2FA.

If you are using 2FA with your GitHub account, you can use GitHub token instead of the password to login to your GitHub account, it works fine for me.
