Unable to add Account , getting authentication failed error. I was trying to add Accounts(Tools->Options->Authentication->Add Account

Hey Senthil,

I understand that you are having issues with adding an account (I am assuming with Sourcetree based on what you have mentioned).

The most common issue customers are experiencing related to authentication in SourceTree is due to the deprecation of GIT username/password in favour of App Passwords:
