Sourcetree connected to BitBucket.org has been working flawlessly. Suddenly it requires login when I try pushing changes but will accept nothing I submit. What changed?

Community moderators have prevented the ability to post new answers.
It finally started pushing (and pulling) after deleting and rebuilding account Authentication about six times. From a push, the login needed my *non-email* Atlassian account name, and an app password I set up earlier.
