Sourcetree stopped showing the uncommited changes diff in UI, how to fix?

I updated SourceTree to version 4.2. 12 (275). It stopped showing me the diff for uncommited changes within the UI in the bottom right corner. It only shows it for commited changes.

I cannot find where I can re-add this view back. I need help! I cannot find anything online that has the answer for this.

Hey @Crystal O_Mara ,

Have you managed to sort this out? I'm on Windows, so I can't perform an exact test, but it might be relevant to what's selected in the left sidebar - either "History" or "File Status" 

I believe you'll only see diffs for uncommitted changes when you're in File Status > Working Copy 

You could also see if switching between "Split" view with and without staging could 'help'

It also might be worth checking the latest version (if there were any Mac updates meanwhile) 👀
