Sourcetree: "Failed to check login for user" Error

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
When I try to login to my account on Sourcetree, I keep getting Authentication failed errors. I have used the edit accounts button from the remote repos page as well as the authentication tab under options. I've been able to log in before, it just started to give me errors recently. I reset my password and am able to verify login under bitbucket -- and I can see my company's repo there just fine. We have 2FA with SSH enabled and all those settings were double checked as well.
