We are currently encountering the problem that SourceTree does not remember all settings hat are stored within %Appdata%\Sourcetree.exe_%GUID%. We have tried to package this in about sex different ways, but unfortunately we cannot save the settings.
you should not use %Appdata%\Sourcetree.exe_%GUID% file to set your settings but the standard approach is to set those data within .gitconfig file (read here)
