Sourcetree Unstaged Files Including Files With Only Whitespace Differences

Since upgrading to Sourcetree 3.4.12, it appears that the 'Unstaged Files' pane is including files even where there are only whitespace changes, despite the settings being configured to 'Ignore Whitespace'
The diff pane shows 'No changes in this file have been detected, or it is a binary file or it is configured to be ignored by the File patterns'
I seem to be unable to resolve this through any configuration, even when I attempt to downgrade Sourcetree. It is unfortunately making it very difficult to determine which files have changed.
