I'm running 1.5.4 of SourceTree. I have a Git repo for which I know has updates to pull. If I try to pull using SourceTree it won't do it (just hangs on the progress bar and I have to eventually cancel). I need to go to terminal to do git status or git pull. Once I do that, then SourceTree will pull from the repository. What gives? I don't even know where to start troubleshooting.

Probably authentication. Is this a git-svn repo? If not, what protocol are you using for the remote, HTTPS or SSH?
