Inputting username and password to register the account starts a loop that seems to do nothing. After waiting for significant time I have udpated the password a number of times but the response in the installer is the same. That sucks.
Hi Ken! Are you on Windows or Mac? If you're on Windows, make sure Internet Explorer is updated to the latest version as Sourcetree relies on it for authentication. If you're still having issues, send us a screenshot or a screencast of your logging attempt, so we can see what happens and continue helping you.

Reverted to gmail login and got past the issue. I'm not sure what the current version of Internet Explorer is since MS has gone a different direction with their browser in Windows 10.
