SourceTree 3.1.3 preloads all previously openend projects

Since version 3.1.3 SourceTree started preloading all projects from "Local Repositories"

I only have a few tabs open but it loads all projects, making it very slow.

This used to be an issue in previous versions but now it's back.

Hello! I'll need a bit more info to help -- are you referring to all repos being opened in tabs on startup? Or are you referring to the bookmarks page?

  • Starting up SourceTree
  • Recent tabs open (currently 5 projects)
  • In background SourceTree is scanning ALL projects that are in the bookmarks while I have not clicked on the "+" icon.
  • Even when I click on Bookmarks I do not want all projects to be loaded (git status). It should be optional
