Hello
After an upgrade this option "Push changes immediately to origin/ui-upgrade" is always unchecked.
Can we please have this as an option that survives Sourcetree updates? I think it is probably the only option that doesn't carry over - and if it did Sourcetree would be the most perfect product!
Love your work.
Cheers
Murray
PS I'm running 4.2.14 on OSX.
I had a quick look through JIRA and think I may have found what I was looking for in the Sourcetree settings:
If I don't come back, this was the solution!

Hi @murraycollingwood ,
I guess it's a 'preventive measure' because this action could be destructive if enabled accidentally.
Also, I don't think there's a preference setting where you can enable/disable this (to be automatically checked/unchecked).
I've tried checking if there are open bugs/suggestions related to this, but couldn't find anything. 👀
However, you could create a new feature request yourself and explain your requirement there.
As far as I know, dev teams review open items occasionally, so it might land in the development roadmap at some point.
Cheers,
Tobi

I thought this was how I create a new suggestion. When I clicked the links it suggested that this was the method of suggesting new features.

@murraycollingwood as Sourcetree is a free tool, most links will redirect you to this Community, but I'm not sure how often the product team looks at questions and discussions here. Atlassian has support policy for free products such as Sourcetree but you would need to dig that out.
The official product tracker is JAC (where you can find features/suggestions and bugs), and for Data Center products, everyone can create/submit a new ticket.
For Sourcetree specifically, you can click Create > Project: Sourcetree For Mac > Issue type: Suggestion, and fill in the required info.
