Problem with Destination Directory

I'm New Here
Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

Every time I try to create a new repository I get this message

"Problem with Destination Directory

Destination path already exists.  Do you wish to continue and create a repository in this folder?"

 

If I click yes sourcetree permanently freezes.  Any help will be appreciated.
