Now that GIT LFS supports File locking will Source Tree support it too?
https://github.com/blog/2328-git-lfs-2-0-0-released
I've updated both, SourceTree and git lfs (to a version newer than 2.0.0) so in theory I have file lock functionality. However I can not find any way to use it.
Is there a way to already use this feature within the GUI or has it be done in a console?
If not, Will it be supported in the future?

There is no LFS locking support in SourceTree currently. We can't comment on a timeline for functionality. Please make sure to vote on an existing ticket or file a new one for either Mac or Windows.

@bgannin https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREE-4663 was closed without resolution or comment. Should we assume that LFS Locking will never happen in SourceTree?
