I was using Git For Desktops with my repositories on github. When I moved all repositories over to bitbucket I thought it's a good idea to change to Sourcetree as well. Temporarily Sourcetree used to connect to some repositories in github before they got moved too.
Currently I don't have any repositories in github - all are in bitbucket and I use for all repositories a bitbucket alias and account to login. The annoying problem i have is that I receive regularily the request to authenticate on github.com. Apart from that there is no other impact. I followed some older advice to use system git instead of embedded, cleared config settings. makes no difference. git pull on any repository works fine.
Sourcetree v3.4.3 on Windows 10
System Git version 2.29.2
Any ideas, please? I suspect that Sourcetree kept some github settings that I can't see in the frontend.
Atlassian's "great idea" to offer support via the community so that all can benefit from it doesn't seem to work, does it? Apart from companies you got stopped trading, this is the worst support i have seen in the last 20 years.
