Dear friends of SourceTree
Q: Is there a way to do "git-diff" of OpenOffice/LibreOffice documents (ae. *.odt) comparing line by line (or even better word by word) by using SourceTree?
Note: I do know the way installing odt2txt, configuring [path to your git repo]/.gitattributes and configuring ~/.gitconfig as mentioned ae. here. This works (nearly) fine at the console ($ git diff myopenofficefile.odt) - can I trigger SourceTree to get a something like that?
Would be a great to get an answer (or a feature at SourceTree ) - thank you all!
Greetings — Adrian
You can configure SourceTree to use a third party diff tool. So if there's one out there that does this, or you script something using od2txt, you should be able to make that work.
