How to add private trusted CA root certificates to git configuration in Sourcetree?

Got following error then trying to clone with Source Tree internal Gitlab-EE repository with private CA signed SSL certificate:

Command: git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks ls-remote https://gitlab01.private.cloud/tools.git
Output:
Error: fatal: unable to access 'https://gitlab01.private.cloud/tools.git/': SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

There should be the private CA certificates installed for git?
