I have my GitHub account associated with SourceTree using OAuth. When I select "Create new remote repository" I get an error message:
message: You need at least read:org scope or user scope to list your organizations.
https://developer.github.com/v3/orgs/#list-your-organizations
I am a member of two organizations so I gather the token that SourceTree has just doesn't have the right permissions.
Once I see this message I have to force quit the app. Dismissing the dialog leaves me in a spot where the "create new repo" dialog is somehow disabled.
I've tried removing and re-adding the account in SourceTree twice: Once just simply remove/re-add, once where I went into GitHub and revoked permissions first to force the app to totally regenerate everything. This didn't help. I think it's not asking for enough permissions when it attaches to GitHub.
Same issue here. That bug was reported by myself on 2018 and I believe my ticket is still on the queue.
