How can I disassociate a repo with SourceTree without deleting it from the disk?

Somehow, I've created a new repo on sourcetree which is an existing local folder that I cannot afford to lose. I have not commited anything so it's just sitting there with all my other sub folders/files waiting to be commited. I want to 'delete the repo from SourceTree/Git' without deleting it from the disk. Disassociate it with git entirely. Any idea how I can do this?

Hi Tuana, when you right click on the repo you have the option to delete it. Then you can choose to only delete the bookmark, or to completely remove this repository from your disk (see screenshot).

Make sure to delete just the bookmark.
