Crucible unresponsive whenever anyone pushes

Hi,

At our company we have 8 developers. Crucible has become really slow. We have managed to find out that it becomes unresponsive whenever anyone pushes any changes in git. The branch being pushed in git does not even need to have a code review up - it will still hang Crucible. 

It becomes unusable. We have tried increasing the memory from 1Gb to 2Gb and doing the garbage collection. Now I am not really sure what steps to take next?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
