Today I suddenly can't open SourceTree -- it says I need .NET version 4.7.1 installed and offers to take me to the download page. If I go to the download page, it's for version 4.7.2, which Windows 10 says I already have installed (or later). I also specifically downloaded the 4.7.1 installer, but since you can't downgrade .NET, that doesn't work either. So then I downloaded the SourceTree installer and tried running that but it gave me the same .NET version error as running the application itself. Also tried uninstalling SourceTree (which also gave the .NET errors but did uninstall), and then tried running the installer again but to no avail. Any ideas?
Hi
I'm assuming you are running an Insider Preview of Windows? If so there is a bug in one of the recent releases, it has been fixed in a newer release
