Add account for remote repo where usernames have '@' character

How can I add an account for a remote repo in sourcetree for bitbucket server, where our bitbucket usernames have an '@' character in them, eg firstname.lastname@company.com.

The response message in the Edit Hosting Account dialog indicates it is hitting the rest api for /rest/api/1.0/users/firstname.lastname%40company.com, but the url that works is the one using the slug, which is /rest/api/1.0/users/firstname.lastname_company.com - but if I use the slug as the username in the dialog, I get an "unauthorized" error.

I can clone repos one-by-one, but it'd be nice to get the full list in the remote repos screen in sourcetree - is there some special thing I need to do to get this working?
