Sourcetree version 3.4.8 for Windows
I am locked out due to the new API token authentication functionality. I was able to successfully create a new API token but when I follow the documentation on this page to add it to Sourcetree, I do not have the option for API token under "Authentication." I only have OAuth or Basic. Screenshot attached.
RESOLVED. Turns out that version 3.4.8 is a version BEFORE 3.4.31 so an update resolved the issue (my sourcetree told me I was up to date).
Hi @Cristina Truitt _Customer Support_ ,
Official support for API token-based authentication was introduced with v3.4.24 (see release notes). 👈
I'd suggest updating Sourcetree to the latest version, or you could (maybe) try to use "Basic" option and type your Atlassian email address to username and API token as password (although, I'm not sure if that will work on this version, as it's from 2022. 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
Ah, I see you resolved it in the meantime. :)
Thanks for the update!
