Hi @TAHSINA KHAN ,

yes, I think so. Rovo Dev is only available, if paid, see:

https://www.atlassian.com/software/rovo-dev/pricing

Is there a free tier for Rovo Dev?

There is no free tier for Rovo Dev. However, limited monthly Rovo Dev credits per developer may be gradually offered to selected customers with a Standard, Premium, or Enterprise Cloud plan of Jira, starting with sites that already use Rovo. Admins will be notified 30 days prior to their rollout and will have an option to opt-out if needed.

Hello @TAHSINA KHAN

No, this is not a credentials issue.

CLI and IDE access is not available on your current plan means the site does not have the required Rovo Dev entitlement for CLI/IDE access. That usually happens when the site is still on trial or only has the free rollout, because CLI/IDE requires the paid Rovo Dev Standard subscription.

So the check is simple:

  1. confirm Rovo Dev is activated on the site
  2. confirm the user was granted access
  3. confirm the site has paid Rovo Dev Standard, not only trial/free access
