Hi @Sarah Magier 👋🏻

First of all, welcome to community! ✨

This is a great question, but to add to @Arkadiusz Wroblewski 's answer,

Unfortunately , there is no direct personal user setting to disable inline suggested replies or follow-up suggestions in Rovo chat, as they are considered default behavior.

To remove these AI features, organization admins must block Rovo access for apps in Atlassian Administration only.

I hope this answers your question. 🙂

Thanks,
Anwesha

Hello and Welcome @Sarah Magier

I would separate this into a few different cases:

I would separate this into a few different cases:

  1. If you only want to hide it for a specific comment, start typing in the comment field first.
  2. If you want to disable it across Jira comments for all users, that would be the Smart Replies setting.
  3. If you want to restrict Rovo / AI features more broadly, that would usually need to be handled by an Org Admin by blocking Rovo for the relevant app.
  4. If the goal is to disable it for just one individual user, I do not currently see documentation that confirms a user-level setting for that.
