how does connectors work

HI,

Coming to using Rovo Connectors

We have a feature to connect gmail with Jira so that whenever we search in jira it can fetch the docs or any kind of data from Gmail.

So the question is

How does this gmail connector work?

like is it connecting one user gmail to same user jira( if i connect my gmail and jira so that it can only fetch data from my account not other users gmail account )or one jira instance to one single Gmail account or one jirs instance to all the connected Gmail accounts?

or in simple if I search will it only fetch data from my gmail account or will it fetch from all the gmail accounts in my company?

@Mahanth Prudhvi P The Gmail connector indexes mail per user, not for the whole org. Each person must connect their own Gmail, and Rovo can only search the messages for the user who granted access. It doesn’t scan company-wide inboxes or other employees’ mail. If you search, you only see results from your Gmail account.
